Veterans Day is a day for showing our appreciation to members of the United States military, both past and present.

If you're looking for a way to honor a veteran or would like to contribute in a way that's meaningful for veterans everywhere, here's a list of ways to make a difference in many veteran’s lives this Veteran’s Day.

Attend parade or service in observance of Veteran’s Day.
Donate to an organization supporting both past and present Veterans.
Fly an American Flag to show your appreciation for our service members and respect for our wonderful county.
Visit a VA Hospital – Most facilities will have events on Veterans Day. Even if you don’t interact with a veteran, helping at a VA Hospital is a great way to give back.
