National Black Cat Day

How many of you have a black cat?  Have you some crap from others about the bad omens that come with black cats?  It’s no surprise that National Black Cat Day would fall right before Halloween since a black cat is often used as a symbol of this scary holiday.  The black cat got it’s bad rep from its association to spell casting witches in history.  Surprisingly, the witches thing has gone away but the black cat is still looked down upon in much of the world.  If you move to Scotland, Britain or Japan, the black cat is actually a sign of good fortune and prosperity.  Maybe that can be the new theme for black cats everywhere.  Happy National Black Cat Day!!
