There are plenty of ways to celebrate Father's Day without going out into all of the chaos that special days like this can bring!
Serve him Breakfast in bed
Get up a little early and cook up some breakfast. Pancakes, bacon, omelets, home fries, fruit–whatever it is that dad likes, serve it up! Whether you’re a good cook or not, it’s the thought that counts.
Have a Picnic on the patio
Who’s dad doesn’t get enjoyment out of lighting the grill and cooking up some burgers for his family? Mix up a batch of lemonade, get some of his favorite music playing, and set up the corn hole!
Conduct Storytime in the living room
Gather everyone in the living room for some storytime. Spend some time recollecting all of your Dad’s favorite memories. He’ll be grateful just to have everyone together and realize how much you love him.
Encourage a Nap in the hammock
Most dads idea of relaxation is likely “taking a nap”. You know that hammock in your backyard that doesn’t get much use? Have Dad hop on in and take a snooze for an hour or so. He’ll wake up feeling ready for the rest of the day’s activities.
Spend some time together in the garage
The garage has a lot of potential for father bonding time. Whether you’re young or old, you can find something fun to do with dad . Believe it or not, your dad will be pleased with your willingness to do something he likes to do!
